The Swan Princess is one of the three sorrows of Irish storytelling.  It is a sad story of how Ireland changed over the 900 years that the three children of King Lir lived as swans.  My doll softens the tale with her smooth velvet wings and lovely, princess gown.   She is reversible, so the swan turns over to reveal the princess.  As with all of my dolls, this is my own copyrighted pattern.  The Swan Princess comes with her story in a small, handmade book.
