This doll is based on one of the few sad stories that I like: Hans Christian Andersen's legend of the little girl who freezes to death on Christmas Eve. It is happy, though, because she joins her grandmother, the only person who loved her, in heaven. Here, the poor ragged match girl turns over to reveal an angel. Approximately 12" tall. As always, this is my own copyrighted pattern. The doll comes with her story in a small, handmade book.
